Katarina Milas has more than 10 years of experience advising entrepreneurs, state institutions, and local government bodies. Her prior work in a large corporation contributed to a strong understanding of how the corporate world operates before entering the attorney-at-law practice.

She is experienced in representing corporate clients in court proceedings, including one of the leading insurance companies. She has advised numerous clients in the process of adapting and organizing their businesses in line with new European regulatory frameworks in highly regulated industries. She has significant experience in the field of state aid law, on which she has also lectured at training programs organized by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Ministry of Economy, and several regional development agencies.

Katarina’s work is marked by a strong commitment to education and continuous professional development. She graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Zagreb magna cum laude, was ranked among the top 1% of students of her generation based on academic performance, and received the Dean’s Award for her academic paper. Her further education includes postgraduate studies in Company Law and Commercial Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb, as well as participation in international academic conferences in the field of state aid law.

In addition, at Ostermann Ivančić, she is involved in resolving disputes in the construction sector.
